Interested in joining Troop 1? Boy Scouts is for all boys ages 11-17 (Grades 5-12). Feel free to drop by and watch a troop meeting. We meet on Monday nights at 7:00 at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Tulsa.

Help First Presbyterian Church celebrate it's 125th anniversary!

Scouts are needed on Sunday, May 30th for ushering. Scouts should be in FULL uniform (with neckerchief) and arrive by 10:30. If you are attending, please contact Mr. Hart or Mr. Sartin. For more information about First Presbyterian's 125th Anniversary Celebration click HERE

We need as many Scouts as possible to show up for this to thank First Presbyterian for all that they have done for Troop 1.

Mr. John Eagleton will be running an Open House in the Troop Room after the service and will need scouts to help with that as well. This will be one of the last chances to see Troop One's eighty year old Troop Room before it is dismantled and relocated to the new, larger space in the Bernsen Community Center.

Pine Tree

Pine Tree is Leadership Training offered to scouts by Indian Nations Council.

Troop 1 will be represented this year by Kyler S.

Additionaly there are 3 Troop 1 Scouts serving as instructors:

Courts of Honor

The Eagle Court of Honor for Ethan G. and Zach R. will be Sunday, May 16th at 3:00pm.

The regular Troop 1 Court of Honor is Monday, May 17th at 6:30p.

Both Courts of Honor are in the Lewiston Room of the Bernsen Community Center (across the Street from First Presbyterian)

Lippe Ranch Family campout

The Troop 1 Family Campout is this weekend (May7-9) at the Lippe Ranch at Grand Lake. Directions and a map, as well as a schedule for the campout, are on the Troop 1 website. There will be motorboating and small boat sailing merit badges to be worked on (and maybe others), swimming in the designated swim area and lots of fun. The highlight will be another spectacular fireworks display by Walt Haskins on Saturday night. George Lippe has requested that we have some good (clean) patrol skits at the Saturday night campfire. Also, anyone that wants to provide some additional fireside entertainment like singing or guitar playing, just let Ernie M. know. This is a two night campout and all meals except Saturday night will be by the patrol method. Please come whenever you can make it. Bring Mom to enjoy Mother's Day weekend by the lake. We need each patrol to provide a large side dish and dessert for the group meal on Saturday night. We also need you to sign up for the campout on the website so that we can get a head count for Saturday dinner. Also, be sure to get a swim test done for all family members before the campout. We will have wristbands for those that have a current swim test and you must have a wristband to get in the water or on a boat. There will be an officer from GRDA Lake Patrol on Saturday morning to talk about water safety. There will be a chapel on Sunday morning and cleanup after that. You will not get credit for the campout if you leave before cleanup. Please respect the property and keep it clean. Bring the family and come have some fun.
